24 weeks

It's been a while! I'm about 24.5 weeks today. Matt and I can't wait to meet Zoe. For anyone who doesn't know, we decided to name our baby Zoe Akina Kerr. I'm slowly but surely starting our baby registry at Target and Babies "R" Us. There are so many things to think about and do before Zoe is born. She's going to be here before we know it. We're definitely excited, though. Someone from work already gave us a little swing for Zoe and a big bag of clothes. I haven't gone through the clothes yet, but I'm sure they're super cute.

It's a girl!

On Wednesday Matt and I found out that we're having a little baby girl. We are so excited! Now, it's time to start buying baby stuff. Yay!

17 weeks

Here's another picture. Matt took this on Thursday night. I can't believe the rate at which my belly is growing. It's amazing. Our next doctor's appointment is on March 16th. We will have our ultrasound on that day, so I hope the baby will let us see him or her so that we can see if it's a him or her. Mark your calendars, everyone! :)

I'm 14 weeks today. Here's a picture of my belly that Matt took a couple of nights ago. :)

The baby is now the size of a lemon and is making facial expressions!

Catching Up

Hi everyone! It's been a while. I've been busy with work and cleaning up our old house. The good news is that the old house is super clean, and we handed over the keys to the property manager. We don't have to think about that house again. Yay! We also closed on our new house last Monday, so we're officially homeowners. That's another yay!

The pregnancy is still going well. I'm still feeling sick, but I'm hoping that the morning sickness goes away soon. I'm now between 13 and 14 weeks (or maybe 14.5 weeks). During our last prenatal appointment, the midwife said that it looks like I might be one week later than we originally thought. I'll have to ask her about that the next time we see her, which will be in a couple weeks. I talked to the midwife yesterday on the phone, and she said the morning sickness should subside this week or next week. I certainly can't wait.

As of today, the baby is as big as a peach! I love that the baby apps that I have on my phone compares the baby's size to fruit. My stomach is growing and growing. I finally bought a Bella Band to wear with all my regular pants. It really helps keep my pants on, especially when I can't button my pants. :)

Yay Baby! - 12 weeks

On Wednesday, Matt and I had our second prenatal appointment. We heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time! We were so excited to hear the heartbeat. It sounded like galloping horses. It was very neat. Now, we know that we have a little baby in there. I can't wait until we have our first ultrasound, which will be in a couple of months. At that time, we'll get to find out the baby's gender and and see what he or she looks like. That'll definitely be fun.

I also told my co-workers that I'm pregnant yesterday, so everyone at work can stop wondering.
